Quick guide to disable hibernate in linux

Disable hiberate in linux laptop

This is a quick guide to disable hibernate in linux laptop. This is useful if you are using your old laptop as linu server.

Just edit the following line inside /etc/systemd/logind.conf. Remove the comment mark and assign the correct value as follows.

HandleLidSwitch=ignore

Then just restart systemd-logind service.
